Abstract:

This document is one of several prepared as part of an in-depth employer and public agency survey and focus group research effort to explore factors leading to successful and cost-effective employer-based transportation demand management (TDM) programs, and to develop guidance documents that would assist employers and public agencies to develop more cost-effective programs. The research examined the influence of worksite and employer characteristics of employer-based programs, the TDM measures implemented, and the process used to select TDM measures.
