Title:

AN ANALYSIS OF STEREOTRIANGULATION FOR HIGHWAY ENGINEERING MAPPING

Accession Number:

00202556

Record Type:

Component

Abstract:

THE ACCURACY, LIMITATIONS OF ADAPTABILITY AND ECONOMICS OF STEREOTRIANGULATION FOR INTERMEDIATE GROUND CONTROL DATA FOR LARGE SCALE PHOTOGRAMMETRIC MAPPING ARE BEING DETERMINED. A ZEISS C-8 STEREOPLANIGRAPH IS USED FOR THE STEREOBRIDGES. ELECTROTAPES /ELECTRONIC DISTANCE MEASURING INSTRUMENTS/ AND OTHER SURVEYING EQUIPMENT ARE USED FOR GROUND CONTROL TRAVERSES. ELECTRONIC COMPUTERS ARE THEN USED. A FIELD TEST WAS CONDUCTED USING THIS METHOD.
