Abstract:
These 14 papers are concerned with the following aspects of travel demand forecasting: toll plaza delay estimation; anticipating welfare impacts via travel demand forecasting models; adapting travel models and urban models to forecast greenhouse gases; intrametropolitan location of business establishments; spatial equity analysis on expressway network development in Japan; modeling location decisions of office firms; understanding residential mobility; developing and applying land use model systems; an integrated land use and transportation modeling framework for a small metropolitan area; a residential location choice model within a relocation context; calibrating a synthetic built form generator; sensitivity testing with the Oregon statewide integrated model; integrated transport and gravity-based land use models for policy analysis; and dynamic origin-destination estimation.
