Abstract:

A program to explore and assess innovative practices at high-performing transportation agencies in the United States and to document and disseminate the adaptability and the benefits to other interested states is under way. A key participant in the successful pilot program—which scanned transportation asset management and right-of-way acquisition—summarizes the findings and describes the domestic program's business plan, structure, and design.
