He looks at work hours, fatigue and accidents, as well as the sleep cycle mechanism. He presents the main results and recommendations from the Swedish TRAIN-project (TRAffic safety and INformation environment for train drivers), as well as the results from two other recent train driver studies carried out in Finland and in Australia.
