Accession Number: 01000627
Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: Many security professionals recognize that school buses are an easy target for terrorism. In an October 2004 letter, the U.S. Department of Education alerted school districts across the nation about possible terrorist targeting of school facilities, including school buses. In this article, three school transportation professionals outline practical steps to prevent--and, if necessary, be prepared to respond to--a terrorist attack on a school bus.
