Abstract:

This article describes the historic red buses that have been restored for operation in Montana's Glacier National Park and the experience of riding with the jammers (the red bus drivers). The red buses were returned to service in 2002 with new chassis, propane-gasoline fuel systems, new bodies, new interiors, environmentally friendly red paint, and experienced jammers.
