Abstract:

This study examines the presence of fixed commitments in the activity-travel patterns of individuals. Data gained from a 6-week travel diary survey undertaken in Germany are used in the empirical analysis. The results provide several insights into the determinants of fixed commitments.

The CD-ROM contains the proceedings of the sixth, seventh and eighth conferences. The eighth conference proceedings were published in October 2001.
