Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: The Transportation Research Board (TRB) manages two cooperative research programs: the 35-year-old National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) and the 5-year-old Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP). Each program is a partnership of users of its findings, the federal government, and the TRB, and each emphasizes applied research of immediate and practical benefit to its constituencies. This article provides an overview of each of these programs.
