Title: STAKEHOLDER RESPONSE TO THE STUDY REPORT: PORT PERSPECTIVE
Accession Number: 00780304
Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: These comments offer the port perspective on the National Research Council (NRC) report "Contaminated Marine Sediments in Ports and Waterways: Cleanup Strategies and Technologies" (March 1997). From the port perspective, there needs to be some action. Too often there is another meeting to talk about the problems instead of action to do something about them. Demonstration projects are necessary. There is a need to consider new laws and regulations that are based on risk.
