Title: OLDER DRIVERS HANDLING ROAD TRAFFIC INFORMATICS: DIVIDED ATTENTION IN A DYNAMIC DRIVING SIMULATOR
Accession Number: 00639790
Record Type: Component
Availability: Swedish National Road and Traffic Research Institute Drottning Kristinas Vaeg 25 Find a library where document is available Abstract: This study is particularly aimed at the age-related abilities to divide attention between different sources of information and at the investigation of performance in relation to different modalities of Road Traffic Informatics (RTI)-information and response modalities. It is obvious that this is highly relevant to the introduction of possible RTI implementations as these will create an extra source of information to the driver while he is already engaged in the task of driving.
