Abstract:

Very thin and ultrathin wearing courses of coated materials have occurred because of changes in pavement construction and maintenance policy; in the ever-higher level of service offered to users; in formulations, following the use of binders modified by adding polymers of mineral or organic fibers; and in the technology of placement.
