Abstract:

This summary of a presentation made at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in Washington, D.C., in January 1991, describes the agenda of the National Coalition to Prevent Impaired Driving (NCPID). The NCPID was formed as a result of a recommendation of the Surgeon General's Workshop on Drunk Driving (December 1988). Its purpose is to coordinate efforts to promote the recommended strategies that came from the workshop's expert panels.
