Abstract:

This paper discusses the United States airport system and its impact on international air transportation activities and future developments on the international scene. The discussion examines recent U.S. trends in technology and regulation, future demands, and trends at U.S. airports that are going to impact the international scene, with particular focus on U.S. airport capacity.
