Abstract:

This conference presentation discusses the future of high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) facilities. It examines where we have been, why we are where we are, and how we got here in the development of HOV facilities, then addresses the question: where are we going? It is concluded that the future of HOV facilities is very bright.
