Abstract:

Day-to-day problems faced by women who are attempting to gain or maintain their certification in the disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) program are examined. Examples are offered of individual case histories documenting discrimination against female DBE participants and viable suggestions are made for remedying this discrimination.
