Abstract:

The workshop on air carrier airports addressed a broad spectrum of aviation issues, including airfield capacity, terminal capacity (both domestic hub and international gateway), landside capacity, airport financing, economic development of non-aviation airport property, airport privatization, and new aircraft. The Panel's findings on each of these topics are presented. Specific airports are cited under each topic except the last which discusses new aircraft developments.
