Abstract:

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has appropriated $23 million to Pennsylvania ports to be used in a wide range of activities (O&M, administrative costs, and capital projects). In 1981, a referendum authorized legislation to incur a $300 million bond indebtedness. The Water Facilities Restoration Act, the outcome of the legislation, is described. Loan application processing is also described.
