Abstract:

This session discussed current and future trends in business aviation and areas of needed future research. Several aspects of the problem were examined, including present conditions, trends, legislation and regulation that affect the industry and future technology. In summary, it was concluded that business aviation continues to play an important part in our national transportation system, and except for its most visible segment, new aircraft production, the industry is doing quite well.
