Record URL: Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: This report presents guidelines for conducting in-service performance evaluations (ISPEs) of both permanent and temporary safety features. In an effort to develop a unified format and nationally compatible ISPE methodology, various individual states’ ISPE databases were employed to leverage available data where possible. The guidelines will be of interest to state departments of transportation (DOTs) seeking to perform both individual and multi-state ISPEs on roadside safety hardware currently in service.
