Abstract: This booklet commemorates the work of Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee AFD70, Standing Committee on Pavement Rehabilitation, which sunsetted in 2017 after a long history of service to TRB. During its tenure, the Committee addressed rehabilitation methods, reliable design criteria, and improved performance models intended to extend the service life of existing pavement structures. The Committee was successful in developing numerous Research Needs Statements (RNS), sponsoring sessions and workshops at the TRB Annual Meeting, contributing to national rehabilitation conferences and events, and providing guidance on rehabilitation issues. This booklet includes chapters that highlight: the evolution of the AFD70 Committee; tributes from former AFD70 Chairs; AFD70 Subcommittees; awards and achievements; AFD70 Emeritus Members; Pavement Rehabilitation Committee membership rosters; major pavement rehabilitation milestones, 1976-2016; selected noteworthy pavement rehabilitation references, 1980-2017; and the Year 2000 Millennial Document on the current state of the practice and future directions for pavement rehabilitation.
