Abstract:

This paper presents the work that has been carried out under the STRAIGHTSOL project, funded by the European Commission under the 7th 3 Framework Program. The main goal of the STRAIGHTSOL project is to demonstrate new solutions for smart and sustainable urban-interurban transhipment and last mile distribution. The work presented in this paper shows the analysis of the suitability of the project tested measures to different hypothetical future scenarios, and also the analysis of the transferability of those measures to different cities / realities. For this two different methodologies are presented and the results discussed and analysed.
