At the conclusion of the presentations at the Countermeasures to Address Impaired Driving Offenders: Toward an Integrated Model symposium, several speakers were asked to provide comments on the integrated model and guidance on how these pieces might fit together. The speakers discussed: technologies to monitor alcohol-involved drivers; a research perspective on the integrated model; the multi-track system of court intervention in driving under the influence cases; conclusions from available research and experience; and remaining research needs.
