Concrete with different aggregate gradations were prepared by preparing different fractal rate of aggregate gradations. The slump, compressive strength, flexural strength and split tensile strength were tested. The results indicated that recycled aggregate concrete performance of the same fractal dimension is different when the max particle size is different. Recycled aggregate concrete with high fractal dimension D had better self compacting fill performance, higher slump and better liquidity. But due to large amount of waste cement mortar in recycled aggregate, as the D increased, the slump of the recycled aggregate concrete increased first and then decreased. When the maximum particle size was different, the performance of recycled concrete with same fractal dimension was different. For the same fractal dimension, recycled concrete with smaller maximum particle size had higher strength.
