The objective of this study is to develop an accurate and computationally robust algorithm for solving dynamic problems. The algorithm is based on Fourier-Bessel theory and the Fast Fourier Transform. Details of mathematical function and matrix formulation are described in this paper. When assembling system stiffness matrix the interface bonding conditions between layers are also considered. Numerical implementations of this method are presented. Verification of this method is done by comparing it with that of BISAR3 for quasi-static process, and with the measured FWD and PFWD deflections data for dynamic processes. Because of the evaluation of system response in frequency-wavenumber domain, this approach allows for adjustment of frequency dependent properties.
