This collection of 13 papers on network modeling for policy and logistics analysis examines the following topics: approximations to the average length of vehicle routing problems; heuristic framework for optimizing hurricane evacuation operations; location routing approach for the humanitarian prepositioning problem; emergency evacuation planning; integrating equity objectives in a road network design model; equity and efficiency analysis of pricing strategies in a bimodal network; dynamic shortest-path algorithm for continuous arc travel times for incident management; incorporating environmental justice measures into equilibrium-based network design; vehicle routing with time-dependent travel times; solution algorithm for long-haul freight network design; multidepot vehicle-routing problem with time windows; optimizing transit priority at the network level; and optimizing distance-based fares and headway of an intercity transportation system.
