A waterways curriculum would offer a flexible approach for developing and presenting educational materials focused on marine transportation to children in a variety of settings and would be applicable and adaptable nationwide. The author presents key concepts and traces a course of action for establishing a successful curriculum that would include school programs, community outreach, onsite teaching, and expositions.
