Abstract:

A significant emphasis at the U.S. Department of Transportation exists to ensure a coordinated effort in implementing transportation system improvements that affect tribal lands, including working better with the tribal governments during the transportation planning process. This conference presentation discusses the Federal Lands Highway (FLH) program, transportation planning process improvements, and transportation planning products.
