Abstract:

This workshop presentation reviews the original Aviation Noise Abatement Policy (ANAP), published by the Department of Transportation (DOT) in 1976, and discusses the latest ANAP issues and goals. On the basis of DOT's policy statement, these issues and goals will help create the Federal Aviation Administration's aviation noise policy guidelines.
