Title: SPILL CONSEQUENCE MODELING REPORT
Accession Number: 00824604
Record Type: Component
Digital Copy: Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: This document describes spill consequence modeling performed for the National Research Council (NRC) Double-Hull Tanker Consequences Sub-Committee. The approach was developed at the Sub-Committee meeting on November 19, 1999, at Applied Science Associates offices. The purpose of the spill modeling is to develop quantitative estimates of the relationship between spill size and consequences (including economic, financial and environmental implications of a spill). Spill modeling provides measures of oil-impacted areas and volumes to be used in these calculations. The SIMAP modification of NRDAM/CME model was used.
