Project objectives are to evaluate current information on the safety performance of roadside features for each subclass of light trucks, to assess the significance of gaps in safety performance information, and to recommend priorities for future research, testing, and development needed to ensure that roadside features accommodate light trucks. This paper presents a summary of the tentative findings of the project to date.
