Abstract:

Eight major themes that emerged from the different workshop discussions and general sessions are identified and discussed. The results of the ranking of the top five issues and actions are then presented. The top concern--the need for revisions to contracting procedures--was rated well above the others. There were five issues rated fairly closely together after this element. As a result, the list (presented here) includes six issues and actions related to Integrated Transportation Management Systems (ITMS).
