Abstract:

The resource papers dealing with environmental and multimodal issues related to Integrated Transportation Management Systems (ITMS) are reviewed. The major points of the papers are reviewed and common themes and issues are summarized, including those from other papers. The papers reviewed are: "ITMS Environmental Considerations and Issues" by S. Siwek and "Multimodal ITMS: From Integrated Traffic Management to Integrated Transportation Management" by K. Turnbull.
