Accession Number: 00680816
Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: This paper gives a nontechnical overview of USDA Forest Service road development projects underway or planned. Since the intent of the summary is to demonstrate the range and extent of roads development projects undertaken by the Forest Service, not all projects are included. The project summaries are categorized to aid in presentation and identification of trends. It is interesting to note that nearly half of the projects are in the Environmental and User categories. The other categories are: Road Surface; Engineering/Other; Structures; Traffic; Geotechnical; and Operation and Maintenance. A list of projects requested, not funded is provided.
