Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: This circular contains suggestions for future motorcycle and moped safety research. Developed by the Transportation Research Board's Committee on Motorcycles and Mopeds over a period of two years, the number of topics was reduced to ten and prioritized to reflect the order in which they should be implemented. Two additional proposals dealing with helmet testing standards and fake helmet use were added following prioritization. For each research problem statement the following are included: Title, Objective, Key Words, Related Work, Urgency/Priority, Costs, User Community, Implementation, Effectiveness, and Priority.
