Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: This is an abstract of the workshop presentation on new transmissions technology. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is one of ten fleets worldwide selected by Allison Transmission to pilot its World Transmission (WT). WT was installed in five PennDOT single axle dump trucks in April and October, 1991. Experience to date with these transmissions is reviewed briefly in this abstract, followed by brief discussions of the three basic WT model series and the new product features of one of these series.
