Title: INTEGRATED PAVEMENT AND BRIDGE MANAGEMENT OPTIMIZATION
Accession Number: 00638712
Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: An integrated pavement and bridge management system that allows cost minimization or benefit maximization is presented. It integrates the pavement and bridge systems so that management may allocate scarce resources optimally across the combined systems. Fuzzy set theory is used in these optimizations to better address the desirability or undesirability of the condition states used to categorize the pavement and bridge segments modeled. Both steady-state and multiyear models are presented.
