Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: Transportation of dangerous goods has recently been the subject of considerable scrutiny. In general, little is known about the quantity of such substances produced and moved or the degree of risk that exists for the transporters and the general public. The amount of dangerous goods movement, the modal share distribution, the principal issues associated with its transport, the relative frequency of incidents, and the degree of societal risk involved are examined.
