Abstract:

The workshop on light general aviation (LGA), defined as both single- and multi-piston-engine powered, fixed-wing airplanes weighing less than 12,500 lbs., examined the following factors: product liability; aviation infrastructure; demographics; the regulatory environment; and the economic environment. The Panel discussed the current status of and the outlook for LGA.
