Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: The air-quality impacts of a comprehensive transportation improvement project located in the ski resort community of Mammoth Lakes, California, are analyzed by comparing levels of carbon monoxide sampled before and after construction. The project incorporates widening, channelization, installation of fully actuated signals, and construction of bus stop shelters. The elements of a transportation control plan designed to mitigate potential air-quality impacts of the project are described and their effectiveness is assessed.
