Abstract:

Europe is a mixture of cultures and political systems with many linguistic barriers. At the same time, it forms a strong economic body which depends on its road infrastructure for its economic development. Therefore, the road network of Europe must have the equipment in road signing and markings allowing drivers from any country to feel safe and comfortable in any other country. The trend in Europe should be, in the coming years and generations, to improve the quality of road signing and to reduce the risks of finding a large number of signs and markings in poor condition as is currently the case.
