Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: The sign-refurbishing procedures used by the Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation are discussed with special attention to cost, manpower, time, and quality of the product. In addition, the results of a questionnaire survey made to obtain information on procedures used in other states are presented. Recommendations concerning the most cost-effective and expeditious method of refurbishing signs in Virginia are presented.
