Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: A description and evaluation are given of a high-reliability ticket vendor (HRTV) developed by the Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The ticket vendors are part of the automatic fare collection system used by PATCO in its rail operations. The HRTV evaluation has shown it to be superior in reliability and comparable in maintainability compared with other ticket vendors.
