Abstract:

In the course of developing a nonlead painting program at the Massachusetts Port Authority for the Mystic River Bridge, a wide range of environmental problems were confronted and unusual systems of environmental protection for the abrasive blasting operations were developed. These problems and the project innovations are discussed in this article.
