Title: MOPED AND BICYCLE USE BY UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII STUDENTS
Accession Number: 00379648
Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: The findings of two user surveys that attempted to determine the characteristics of moped and bicycle users and their school trips are discussed. Among the items covered are the degree of use of these devices, modal shifts, impact on other modes, trip-length characteristics, and problem areas. Because school trips by college students represent a significant market share of bicycles and mopeds, the information derived can add to the accumulating knowledge regarding mopeds and bicycles and the competition between them.
