Title: PSYCHOLOGIST'S VIEWPOINT REGARDING INFORMATION SERVICES
Accession Number: 00261739
Record Type: Component
Availability: Transportation Research Board 500 Fifth Street, NW Find a library where document is available Abstract: The following three viewpoints are presented: (1) while an on-line search on walking as a transportation mode yielded nothing at the time this report was being prepared, it is predicted that within a year a similar search will yield a fair amount of information; (2) to get the word around, reports retrieved could be sent to the researcher or author of the report, who it is predicted will spread the word; and (3) concerning who operated the terminal, the motivation for using an on-line system will be greatest in the questioner who actually operates the terminal since he will get an immediate feedback.
