A SERIES OF RELATIONS IS PRESENTED TO INDICATE TO WHAT EXTENT THE OVER-ALL PAVEMENT STRUCTURE THICKNESS AND THE SEASONS OF THE YEAR ENTER INTO THE DIFFERENCES IN BEHAVIOR OF THE EDGE AND CENTER PORTIONS OF THE PAVEMENT, AND INTO THE DIFFERENCE IN BEHAVIOR OF THE SECTIONS WITH 2-IN.
