Title: OPERATOR AND SAFETY PROBLEMS (DISCUSSION)
Accession Number: 00378516
Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: In the author's opinion, introducing 1000 pound cars into the current US population and road system will lead to a substantial increase in fatalities. This could be counteracted somewhat by educating the public about the increased vulnerability of the smaller cars and such strategems as painting these vehicles day-glo colors. However, it may be necessary to redesign highways so as to physically separate these cars from longer vehicles.
