Abstract:

FIELD WORK PERFORMED UNDER A COOPERATIVE GEOLOGIC PROGRAM FOR THE PROPOSED RELOCATION OF THE MOHAWK TRAIL IS REPORTED. THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED CROSSING WAS INVESTIGATED GEOLOGICALLY AND SEISMICALLY. THE SEISMIC PROFILES OBTAINED INDICATE THE BEDROCK SURFACE AND GLACIAL FILL.
