The Metropark rail station on the Northeast Corridor railroad line and adjacent industrial park located in Middlesex County, New Jersey represents a pioneer site-specific TSM effort of the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). The issue-oriented approach includes the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of TSM strategies incorporating the on-going activities and concerns of private municipal, and state agencies. The article is a brief discussion of the study area, the institutional arrangements, the transportation issues, the analysis approach, and the recommended TSM strategies. (Author)
